Environmental Issues
We are fully committed to reduce the impact our print has on the environment. The perception of print as an environmentally unfriendly industry is something we are working hard to change.
Embracing technical advances in the production processes is matched by our desire to reduce our carbon emissions. We are constantly reviewing and monitoring how we do things, assessing then changing where necessary. In our manufacturing process we strive to use sustainable resources and reduce the causes of pollution. The use of vegetable based inks is standard and biodegradable laminates are now available.
A recently commissioned energy audit has enabled us to target areas where improvements can be made. This audit has covered energy use, water conservation and renewal, waste reduction, resource efficiency and raw materials.
